I love the sport too much not to feel bad for the guys. Yeah, there’s people who genuinely just want the money and don’t care, but if you’re a competitor who wants to do well this has to be awful on your mental health. Just has to feel terrible.

– Bobby Bonilla threatened to beat up reporter Bob Klapisch because of his book “The Worst Team Money Could Buy” which he wrote about the team from the previous year who had the highest payroll in baseball and finished with 90 losses.
– Bret Saberhagen threw bleach on the reporters.
– Vince Coleman injured Doc Gooden while swinging a golf club in the clubhouse for whatever reason.
– Vince Coleman also threw firecrackers at some kids and hurt them.
– Anthony Young had his famous record-breaking 27 game losing streak.
