Hathaway goes to the box after clipping Crosby with a high stick before the faceoff, but then Crosby also heads to the box for embellishment after Hathaway argues

  1. Hathaway just twirling his stick behind his back like it’s a baton in drum line get the hell outta here

  2. It was a dive but also a high stick so good call. Not sure what Hathaway is doing looking like star wars kid out there but its a good trade off for the Flyers

  3. The video actually ended before Sid sat there for another 10 seconds with his arms up asking for the call. Hathaway deserved the call no doubt, but Sid sold it so hard.

  4. I’m not saying Sid is not embellishing. I think he likely is.

But just consider, if that hit right in the tip of the eyeball just perfectly, id probably drop like that too.

  5. If Crosby just flicked his head back it would have been fine. The NBA style flopping your entire body like you forgot how to skate is just embarrassing.

  6. I really hate how inconsistent the officials are with embellishment calls. You’ll see a play like that and honestly the surprise could have been what caused the reaction but them then you’ll see someone just faceplant nowhere near anyone and the refs just shake their heads.

  7. Weird high stick, he actually did get high sticked but dove like an improv actor.

  8. I’m quick to shout out for Crosby the HOF player/person. I was using another P word after that silliness.

  9. Sid not making the postseason in the last couple seasons definitely warped people’s perception away from stuff like this. He’s still a beauty and one of the three greatest ever, but he definitely still has the ratty side that everyone somehow forgot about when tensions get high.

  10. Sid up to his old school tricks on the retirement tour. No hate, just a chuckle

  11. Crysby was a nickname for a reason. He really seemed to stop for a while but it’s back with authority now.

  12. She just won People’s most beautiful award, and now she’s high sticking? guess grace isn’t considered in the award anymore
