Love it when players tell the media to STFU
I just like this guy, he don’t play on that BS
He seems serious, but is he possibly being sarcastic?
“now that you’ve apologized… yes, yes I will”
I loathe Castellanos, but he was 100% right to call out that reporter with that dumbass question.
Say what you will about his WAR, the man is elite at ngaf about reporters

I’m glad they said sorry instead of doubling down and getting argumentative, like that one reporter did. Different type of question but still, respect the reporter for apologizing for it.
Their lockers are right next to each other as well.

lol solid
It’s fucking May 10th and some of you softies are clenching because a reporter made an incredibly light joke about Tatis not having a HR–especially not directly to him.
Ease up.
Castellanos handled it fine. The reporter handled it fine (especially the 2nd part.) And Tatis could easily give an eyeroll with a “Bruh” and likely endear himself to quite a few MLB fans. It’s 5/10 – it IS funny and I’m sure none of you are really pacing, thinking, “Oh man–what is Tatis going through? His dad had 2 grand slams in one fucking inning–I really feel for him. I hope he’s okay…” Boo hoo
Someone is asking for the reporter to be fired? Holy shit 2026 is soft as Charmin.
NOT sorry!
It would be impossible for me to miss a ball player less
Kevin Acee activities; notable troll of SD reporting
Nicky Castellanos is essentially both Mikey and Richie from the bear combined.
That’s a clown question bro
Oh fuck an apology in front of Nick. It’s happening now lmao
But really tho what’s up with tatis?

He looks like Stephen DeMarco from Tell Me Lies and I’m scared but turned on
He’s genuinely one of the most unintentionally funny players in the league right now
Many media people these days are basically Tiktokers looking for attention. Low quality journalism is the norm these days that the good ones stand out more.
Reporters start spending so much time in the clubhouse they think they’re a part of the team and get too comfortable making jokes
