How does Sean McVay go at number 1 but Ben gets put ahead of Matt LaFleur..? Matt LaFleur is mid at best as a head coach he is VERY conservative and he lost his team the wildcard game by taking the ball out of Jordan’s hands on early downs when all Jordan was doing was dotting the bears up on 3rd and 4th downs. Just lame duck RPO one after another on early downs is what lost the packers the wild card. But nonetheless, I can name atleast 10-15 players callers in the NFL that base their scheme and motions off of Matt LaFleur. AND copy his plays. People think Andy Reid is a legend for that lil Corndog motion in then sprint back out play he ran in the SB, Matt LaFleur did that to Sean McVay in the playoffs with Rodgers and Adams. People think McVay is a legend for calling that double screen 2 pump fake then streak down the middle, Matt LaFleur his McVay with that in Jordan’s first year. I mean the disrespect towards Matt LaFleurs play calling ability and play design is absolutely insane. All the guy does is cook stuff up he’s just the most conservative coach in NFL history and doesn’t let Jordan cook no matter how big Jordan comes up. But Matt absolutely cooked Ben Johnson 2-3 times they coached eachother. Caleb can’t even run Ben’s offense ffs Caleb’s highlight reel consists of off script running around like a chicken with its head cut off late in the 4th against gassed defenses. That is the bears recipe. It’s not beautiful play calling it’s Caleb being a young Russell Wilson. People gotta give MLF his credit as a play caller ts is getting out of hand
