Chat GPT told his daughter to contact protective services. Then she proceeds to say she was upset to see he rfather apprehended…. clearly too young to be using AI we are all doomed. Hope this family is okay this doesn’t seem too awful as the two have already reconciled.

It is sad how certain ppl automatically glaze what limited information is available in the manner most favorable to him.
His daughter is 18 not some small child. He admitted he had been drinking and put hands on her. The subsequent statements attributed to her were read out by a lawyer. Hired by the family. After he was released.
Could he be a chronic abusive parent? Perhaps. Could it have been a momentary lapse in judgment and he’s otherwise a great spouse and parent? Also Yes.
There’s simply not enough time and distance or separation to really assume anything at face value. Best of luck to the family and hopefully healing because they’ll need it.
