8. So the NFL had already started using HD broadcasts that early? I remember the first football game I ever watched in my life was the 2007 Super Bowl. China Central Television (CCTV) also broadcast that game, but I clearly remember that the signal I received for that game was only in standard definition.

    The next week, Buck, Aikman, and Collinsworth rolled into town for PHI-PIT on Fox. And it was an absolute disaster for the Eagles that Sunday as they took a beating.

    The Steelers knocked the last two teams from the undefeated ranks in consecutive weeks. Champagne corks were firing off in Miami. Later in the season, the Dolphins commemorated that occasion by donning orange jerseys & beating the Patriots on MNF

    Unfortunately the Steelers YinzerMobile hit a brick wall in the playoffs. It’s called the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game

    Then the Patriots went on beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl

    hmmm… Steelers lose to Patriots in AFC Championship, Patriots go on to win the Super Bowl. That happened in 2001… I’m sensing a pattern here…

I'm kind of old, and have been a fan of football since I was a little nard and my grandfather showed me games as a kid teaching me the game etc. That said, there was something special about this game. First off the Steelers with the rookie Ben had to face 2 undefeated teams in a row ( Philly being the other). And I have to be honest, My expectations for the Steelers was not good, we thought for sure they were going to ge hammered. Seems there was something more to this the Ben than just the new guy on the team. True, they did fall to the Pats in the Playoffs, but they did with Ben at the lead go onto some pretty special play, and games. Ben still to this day holds some NFL record that quite honestly will be hard to beat.
