Curious if anyone into pitcher’s stats has an idea of a pitcher the Rays could pick up/bring up for the rest of the season? I don’t think Fleming is horrible, but a better SP down the stretch could let him be a 1-2 inning guy in the bullpen making him more effective. I saw a publication on Mike Cleavinger with the White Sox, and his career stats look promising (especially if he were to get with Snyder). P.S. really disappointed in the Chase Anderson DFA still.

No thanks on Clevinger. Not a fan of his off the field stuff. Would much rather go for Giolito in this scenario
No reason to trade for another starter at this point. Glas, Shane, and Eflin are a good three-headed monster, Bradley, Fleming, and Chirinos are fine for the back of the rotation role until we get Drew back in July/August. No need to spend valuable prospects on rentals who aren’t going to even start for us in the postseason. Obviously, circumstances can change but right now we need to look at guys for the BP.
