I had such a passionate brief love for Keegan. I still have faith.
He’s been okay. I would imagine this is his last dance
On one hand, anyone has to be better. On the other hand, I’m more curious about how he’ll perform than enthusiastic
Keegans last shot. I think he responds well
thank fucking god.
There’s really nobody better? That’s kind of a scary thought.
Glad to see this man. He’s going to be great again.
Keegan looked solid in spring training, and after a rough initial appearance, he’s been great the last three outings at Iowa. As far as 40-man pitchers go, it was either him or Wesneski, and Keegan has been performing better, so it makes sense.
Man, if we get 2022 Thompson. Things will roll.
cuASS
Can’t believe we traded away Nelly who could be an uber valuable young rotational DH and outfielder for this tucking bum
Anyone is better than Cuas
Smart choice
This is likely because they want to keep Wesneski stretched in Triple-A. Sadly, this likely isn’t going to upgrade the BP. His velocity is way down (2 mph) from where it was even last year. His release point issues have been fixed but his Cutter has lost spin and movement and his overall arsenal is frankly pretty funky right now in a bad way. Even when he wasn’t giving up runs, he was giving up much elevated launch angle and hard hits.
I would expect he’s up to soak up some depth innings of needed. But that’s about it.
