YALL OUR BACKCOURT IS FUCKING ELITE
Embiid plays, me happy
Once we get McCain and Peg Leg P back we might be cooking
Nice game. I can tell I’m gonna be a nervous wreck watching Embiid play though. Please Jo, just play in the post and don’t do anything stupid. I think playing Bona with Embiid is a great idea too, takes a lot of pressure off him defensively and on rebounds.
Joel Embiid looked like Joel Embiid!
Takeaway from this: we would absolutely destroy the Iowa Wolves.
Joel Embiid presumably survived playing NBA minutes for one game.
Bring on the season!
Missed the game. How’d embiid look?
Eastern conference is WIDE OPEN.
Yes we need like 6000 things to go right but we have the roster.
Hang the banner this is our year!
Signs are there man. Just give us some injury luck for once.
Feel bad for Justin Edwards. Seemed like he was getting better and better last year and now it’s like he’s a shell of his former self
I wonder if he will bounce back?
At anniversary dinner and had to miss the game, didn’t even see embiid was in the starting lineup. How did the big fella look?
Launch PG into the sun and continue to develop our young guys

🥹
Spurs were a good team that sucked one year and got Duncan
Hopefully history repeats itself
I’ll always love Jo, and I know a lot of people are seeing his scoring highlights and happy to see him back on the court, but man it seems like he’s moving in slow motion out there. Maybe he’s taking it easier for the preseason, but I’m worried he’s not gonna be able to move on defense/box out anywhere near the way he did in his prime. He’ll still be able to get buckets because of his size/scoring ability, but I’m not sure how he can play in transition looking like this.
Even if it doesnt work out for Embiid Still going to be worth watching for VJ
VJ is legit. Embiid looks spry. Maxey is a bucket. Grimes for 6th man of the year. McCain and PG coming back in a couple weeks. East is wide open with Tatum and Haliburton out… am I really going to let this team trick me again? lol
Regardless of the level of competition, there’s a lot to feel good about. Embiid looking healthy. Embiid adapting his game to support the young guys with 8 assists and being enough of a threat to draw attention and make it easier for everyone else. VJ looks great, scoring on good efficiency and being a menace on defense. Grimes getting his without being the first option. Maxey doing Maxey things. All these guards being able to be difference makers individually while not subtracting from each others games. Good shit.
I’ve seen enough, championship incoming

Vj needs to get that 3 in the 35% range and just get a bit better with his handles and he could be an all star. His development is going to be very interesting.
Im actually a fucking idiot bro im falling for it again award winner 6 years running

Healthy and in-shape preseason Embiid is something we haven’t seen since…ever? Obviously health for him is relative at this point, but a miracle can no longer be totally ruled out. He looks good.
They really fucked around and gave us the next prime Russell Westbrook.
I told you all… the vibes seem… good?!?

From the depths of my archives, we must recreate this with Maxey/Edgecombe
Fuck it, I’m all the way back in. Break my heart once more Sixers. Let’s ride.
Honestly looking like VJ Leonard
Man I really wish we coulda signed Grimes long term at 15-17, he really is 80% of Derrick White
VJ is the real deal. Can’t believe we got a top 3 pick after all the nonsense. Having a horrible season last year might be the best thing that happened to this franchise in the Embiid era if VJ becomes a star
Will never switch up on this team. Even through all the bullshit there’s nothing quite like Sixers basketball.
Let’s fucking go fellas. VJ Edgecombe… YOU ARE HIM.
