I’m honestly surprised it’s this bad.

  1. I know raw +/- is a very shaky statistic to use, and Dray will often be playing in lineups without Steph or maybe even without Steph and Jimmy, but still, this year it genuinely feels like we often play better without him.

  2. Since December is some serious cherry picking since he’s been out. Try the whole season.

  3. I’m not surprised. Without consistent shooters draymond’s minimal impact offensively is starting to rear its ugly head. Not to mention the fact that he constantly gets ejected from games for no reason literally hurts the morale of the team. I knew after I saw Draymond get ejected in that one game versus Orlando a couple years ago and made Steph cry I wanted him off the team. I am thankful for what he has done helped us four rings but he’s ran his course. Honestly a even consistently injured Anthony Davis at this point is a better player than Draymond and it hurts me to say that.

  4. This is why data in a vacuum is never helpful and why critical thinking is so important. How many games did he play in December? Is that a big enough sample size? What lineups did he play in and what was the plus minus overall? Whats his season plus minus?

Btw I’m in the “we’re better off without Draymond and we should trade him” camp. Not trying to defend him, just saying sometimes data like this is meaningless and we can easily make the mistake of using it to confirm our bias.

  5. This is the +/- sitting the OKC massacre. It’d be far worse if Draymond had played that game.

  6. Oh you can bet for every negative point Draymond has prepared a thesis as to why it is the fault of Officials.
