One of the reasons I don’t want to draft a WR high this year is because next year’s WR class is already looking much better. Draft analysts are already calling 2027 a fantastic WR class and better than 2026. Jeremiah Smith is the jackpot pick that we almost certainly won’t get, but I think the Chiefs would get a better 1st round prospect there than they would this year even if they’re picking in the 20s vs 9.
