blaming the refs while getting out-rebounded by 20?
This sub will defend Paul George and pretend he’s worth 200 million dollars but crucify Tyrese Maxey 😂😂😂😂 yall are genuinely awful I gotta get off this app
I still can’t believe the Knicks went on a run and we responded with a Maxey Grimes Watford Barlow Bona lineup
Calling timeouts to stop momentum is kinda overrated.
Mike Brown tried to do it and the knicks still gave up a huge run in the 4th.
What’s not is calling a timeout to fix the glaring issue that you’re getting out rebounded by 20 and try to do something about it.
I mean we practically lost the playoffs because of the same thing, somehow still no answer.
Sixers win that game easily if KAT didn’t foul out
Also KAT fouling himself out won the knicks this game, guy is an absolute bum, I was actually sad to see him off the floor.
Sixers late they strategy against the Knicks needs to change a little. Let Brunson try to beat you with tough shots rather than over helping and leaving their role players open. The Knicks are a vibes and energy team. They’ve struggled this year in games where Hart and OG can’t get going. Let Jalen drop 40
Looking at the box score, the Knicks offensive rebounding and subsequent 3 pointers off of them were the difference in the game overall.
It could’ve been a lot worse. Executed well down the stretch defensively. Had some luck go their way in missed free throws.
I blame this on Nurse not calling a timeout in the third.
Also this team desperately needs a proper PF. Kelly and PG are both proper SF. I think the twin towers lineups have worked and can help on the boards.
reality is we need a good Maxey shooting game to beat the Knicks
I feel pretty good about PG so far this year, but I think if a team is desperate enough to call about him, Morey should move him in a heartbeat.
We can’t have Joel’s contract and Paul’s contract on the books together and hope to compete beyond the play-in, and Jo shouldn’t go anywhere since he’s an all-time great 76er and has looked amazing lately.
Need some trade targets- players that don’t need the ball in their hands to score. Thought that was Grimes but it seems not and if they aren’t playing McCain, you have another guard spot open- also I love Bona but he half the time he plays he looks like he’s blind- way too aggressive on defense
Team is fun to watch but man we need more consistency, we have the talent there is no reason we shouldn’t be hosting a playoff series in this weak ass east
3rd quarter collapse was ballgame. We come out and don’t shit the bed it’s a W. Continued awesome signs from Embiid, once his conditioning is up he’s going to be potentially near mvp level which is insane to think about. Frustrating loss but I don’t come away thinking we can’t compete with top teams.
We need some help on the bench
How do you let them outscore you “at home” 30-13 in the third quarter?
Played their asses off cutting it from 20 to 3 only to give up. I’m sure they were exhausted but god damn
44 games in and we still haven’t addressed the 3rd qtr problems
If Daryl believes in Embiid and this team, he’ll trade real draft capital for Naji Marshall or Herb Jones. If he doesn’t, maybe he trades a 2nd or two for a Jeremy Sochan rental.
Also, grimes won’t even get the full MLE. Daryl was smart to just let him take the QO
We need more than 2 for 15 on threes from Kelly, George, Edgecombe, and Grimes.
Another minor issue I have with coaching is the minutes to FGA when it comes to VJ. I get that he’s a good defender and you want him on the floor, but it’s ridiculous that he has multiple 40min nights with less than 10 FGA.
If you know the offence will mainly focus on a 2 men game between Maxey and Embiid, why not put Grimes on the floor instead?
Not too late to make a major coaching change. Better to do it now with Joel in a groove than wait until next season
PG absolutely DOMINANT with a monster 9pt game on godlike 30/0/100 splits 🔥
Don’t even get me started with his elite playmaking leading to 2 dimes!
So glad we gave him the max!
I was listening on the radio driving home and what a wild sounding ending
Unwatchable product
It shouldn’t take a full quarter to make adjustments….
I mean losses always suck but I don’t get the point of having a full blown meltdown every time there’s one. Joel looks good, Knicks just murdered us on the glass again, tough loss but not a bad one
Win or lose they really are a tough watch when Embiid plays. He’s such a force offensively, but he seems to drastically throw off the chemistry of the team on both ends. On paper this group can make the conference finals, but they fail the eye test. The offense seems unstoppable at times but it inevitably devolves into Embiid and Maxey taking turns and pressing while VJ & PG stand around doing nothing. No off-ball movement. No cutting. No crashing the boards. As a result their energy defensively fades and they get sloppy. It’s on Nurse to figure it out.
Joel is back. That should be the sign to go all-in. Do some bloody trades Daryl.
Especially when 5 soils his pants on a nightly basis. Legit hate him more than even PG or Nurse. No matter the first two teams he went to became better after they traded him away. Not counting Dallas due to their circumstances. FU, QG you wasteman.
Can this team please win the remaining home games? Because the home record is a major red flag. Fire Nurse if not. Tired of this BS of losing 3Qs and home games.
Btw, ESPN 76ers are the inverse TNT Bulls. Lol.
Even Ralts can predict Maxey in the clutch. He’s been *garbage* in the clutch this season and has caused more than half of the team’s home losses.
Some guys just didnt make shots its that simple. We always come out flat in the 3rd Quarters and to me that is a coaching and a scheme issue. Embiid looks great and maxey looked very good but you can see maxey is fucking exhausted.
