They should call him up! He is ready!
I hope he doesn’t have an injury riddled career so people don’t call him ER.
Probably still calling him ERC just flows better
Pet Elmer in the bullpen, if Weathers gets injured, make him the 5th starter until Rodon and or Cole come back.
El Rod. Spring Training shall provide an answer who the opening day SP's will be. From video I've seen, he has huge potential although at 22 years of age, might need a final tune up at AAA.
He’ll be up at some point, along with Lagrange and maybe Hess.
Call up the pitching prospects if we have a chance to. Seriously why are they wasting their time.
The Mets have Tong and McLean and yea. They’ll still need more experience but they won’t get the experience playing in the minors.
Let’s go!
somebody said that Elmer Rodriguez Cruz is ready put him in the Bullpen or in the rotation
On the one hand it would be great if the Yanks want back to the Stick Michael approach of steady development of young arms by calling them up sooner rather than later, even if at first they're relegated to mop up duty in the pen. On the other hand there's the reality that young starting pitchers for the Yanks in the present age tend to get messed up mentally by the coaching staff's asinine coaching. If this kid ends up in the show I sure hope he doesn't get ruined by bad coaching.
The fact that ERC was already a good prospect excites me. Usually Blake takes mediocre guys and makes them good. Maybe this time he can take good and turn it into special. We've been having succsess recently with pitching prospects and I think he will keep that trend going. I hope all of our guys stay healthy but if not he should fit right in.
Matt Blake is great pitching coach has done great job with young pitchers
We are definitely gonna see El Rod and LaGrange this year
Ben Hess is ready now.
Nice channel. Pitching is needed. But I think Yankees need another righty power bat. Would love to have Mariners Eugenio Suarez who hit 49 homeruns and 118 rbi in 2025. And he plays third base.
@firesideyankees Ryan Garcia I probably will said yes Elmer Rodriguez is ready for the MLB! Good thing the Yankees didn’t trade him anyway
He needs AAA innings. Dont be too hasty
We shall see in the Spring
YES!!!! FUTURE CLOSER CARLOS LAGRANGE BY THE END OF THE SEASON AS WELL!!!
What about Dylan Coleman who was clocked at 102 mph? I heard that the Yankees signed Coleman to a minor league deal. Matt Blake worked with Mac Heuer and he's now able to throw 98 mph. Heuer is 6'5" 265-pounds and 21 years old.
Elmer Rodriguez needs to put on weight as he's a stringbean.
Ryan would you do Dominguez for Paredes? Houston wants left-handed bat
How will they handle ERC if he goes all Jordan Montgomery and makes a legit push for a rotation spot in ST? Would love to see it.
The Yankees should call Rodriguez,we need all the help we can get until our pitchers come up from the ill list.
I like Elmer Rodriquez, he reminds me a lot of a right handed version of Jordan Montgomery coming up. Tall lengthy crafty pitcher that really mix’s it up well but has a nice two seam
Bring him up, and when we have Cole and Rodon back it should be, Cole, Fried, Rodon, Schlittler, ERC rotation. Place Gil, Weathers, Warren, and Schmidt in the pen and we'll be solid!! That starting rotation plus pen would be killer! Starters: Cole, Fried, Rodon, Schlittler, and ERC, Pen/Inning eaters: Gil, Cruz, Schmidt, Hill, Warren, Weathers, Yarbs, Blackburn, and Bird. Closers: Bednar, and Doval. 🔥🔥🔥
