Since the Hawks are rebuilding and will likely finish rock bottom to get Connor Bedard, thought I’d share this otherwise great moment from the miserable 03-04 season. Second to last in the league and with the fewest number of wins (20-43-11-8), but they managed to beat the Presidents Trophy winners 15 seconds into overtime, especially considering that going into that game, Chicago was winless in overtime (0-3-5) while Detroit was undefeated (3-0-3), which makes this win even more cool.

Our biggest highlight this upcoming season might be similar to this unfortunately. The Hawks’ dark ages have definitely returned.
