  1. 4 is pretty damn good for a team that has squeaked out 3 out of their 4 wins and lost badly to a team above us. We are good, but *not* the best team in the league, hence 4. Read what they say about the Vikings and it explains pretty fairly why the lower percentages.

It’s amazing how our fans always complain about not getting any respect but then when we do, we complain that it’s not enough.

  2. Those percentages are oddly low. Even if you aren’t a believer in the Vikings (which IMO is totally fair), we only need to finish 7-5 to *guarantee* a playoff berth, and 6-6 is probably good enough with seven teams getting in nowadays. And our schedule is not difficult.

  3. 4 is too high, I’d say we are somewhere around the 8th – 12th best team.

Green Bay has a proven savage at QB that has been running our division, I can see why their %’s are higher.

  4. Did you not read the beginning of the article? The rankings are a survey aggregation – ESPN is just directly using survey responses to rank the team. The playoff %s are, presumably, their own proprietary calculation. There’s no inherent reason why they’d have to be perfectly aligned.

  5. I mean we have to play our schedule and with that we’re 4-1, #2 in the NFC, and #1 in the nfc north. Not much matters outside of that

  6. Remember that year we started 6-0 and didn’t make the playoffs? This start doesn’t mean shit
