[Slater] Steph Curry admitted he got “wrapped up in trying to heroball my way to a hometown buzzer beater” and would be thinking about these two late regulation possessions in an eventual OT loss in Charlotte

  1. Good learning lesson from an ultimately meaningless game in the long run. Better to get those mistakes out now. Makes this loss hurt a little more though

  2. Accountability that’s what I like to see I’d expect nothing less from Steph but it’s still good to see.

  3. Honestly with all he’s done, it’s not a big deal for an early season game. He’s earned the right to go for it.

  4. I’m glad Steph said that but also it’s game 6 let him heroball if he wants to!!! He rarely does it

  5. Yea he fucked up.

Really didn’t like his possessions end of regulation trying to play hero ball.

That last possession was god awful. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  6. I don’t mind a few bad selfish decisions this game. He’s gonna carry us in so many games and already did for a few

  7. Glad he owned up to those terrible possessions. Still he wasn’t the main issue of tonight. Brick Thompson and Wiggins cooled off after his hot start. Hornets played bad we played just as bad and the calls went their way

  8. To be honest, I’d rather him hero ball with the game on the line. Steph iso ball has a high likelihood of resulting in a bucket. Just not today 😭

  9. he needs to be selfish sometimes. just wish draymond had been involved in that action, him and steph were rolling like it was 2017
