I have yet to see Draymond yell at anyone this season and a lot of people haven’t been following his defensive instructions on the floor, vets included.
I know it’s a slow process and time is needed for Draymond to be able to yell at them again but honestly that yelling and scolding is desperately needed right now.
This is the effect of Draymond punching Poole. Lost his voice, we lost our defense.
The Poole-Dray incident had a direct impact with the locker room is the way I look at it. Dray has yet to yell at anyone on the sidelines look he usually does. I know dray can be a dick sometimes, but we need his veternship to really get on the young guys about their awful defense.
Agreed we need him to start getting fired up at our team again..we have no defensive intensity.
overall, it’s on the coaching. if you look at last night’s box score there are obvious holes. Kerr did not play kuminga or andre. why? why did poole, moody and jerome combine for 14pts and 4 assists? the bench is running so many poor iso plays, it’s bad. I understand the fouling is bad and it did not help last night. we saw missed layups by klay and wiggins. it’s on the coaches.
Pretty sure if this Dray comes back he’s gonna missile dropkick Wiseman and/or Poole

It’s not just the young guys though. The vets have been a problem as well. Last night the starters managed to get into the penalty, before the bench was subbed FOR THE FIRST TIME.
That’s an awful situation for your bench. Your bench is obviously worse than your starters, they’re going to make mistakes especially if they are young and or new to the team. They need to not be in the penalty so they can give fouls if they need to, without it directly costing points.
The team as a whole needs to stop reaching so much. I get that the refs stuck to, but you can’t do anything about them you need to adjust to how they’re reffing the game. The team doesn’t do that and stubbornly racks up a bunch of fouls. We gave away 47 free throws!!!
Nobody has looked good defensively. Need to stop scapegoating.
Not to take anything away from the message of the video, but this clip is from last year. This only shows that the same problems occurred last season too, but likely less frequently and probably better bench players and leadership from Draymond
Probably continued fallout from the punch… dray is walking on eggshells and others are probably on high alert of any outbursts…

Dray has no standing in the locker room anymore after sucker punching JP. The young guys and a few vets are on JP’s side. Anything Dray tries to say will be tuned out in an instant.
