  1. If we had team defense, the Leafs would take more chances and we could have won this 3-1 or 4-1. But we crumble hard. Hopefully a big trade or two and a good draft pick rights the ship for next season

  2. If I have to watch another game of petterson and Hoglander on a line I might just have to cry myself to sleep

  3. It’s really hard to look forward to this team when it’s just been disappointment after disappointment

  4. Holy fuck the amount of games we’ve blown is unreal I’d be paying top dollar for tickets as the home team. Get to watch a sick comeback guaranteed

  5. I think the canucks need to rethink their position on “not rebuilding”. It is the most embarrassing thing you can do as a Canadian, is losing to the leafs. Arizona? Columbus? Right like these are professional hockey teams. But the fucking leafs? What an actual shame. Embarrassing.

  6. I see the whole sub looking for one player to blame but realistically the whole group seems to have issues. No one meshes and the mentality is way off.

  7. How much effort would it take to start getting some “sell the team” and “fuck the aquilinis” chants going on?

  8. If the entire 2011 team came out of retirement to play tonight they’d probably still lose but atleast we’d see a team put up a fight than what we saw tonight..

  9. Please blow up the team and trade for prospects and cap space. There is no reason to keep anyone when an overhaul is needed.

  10. I still blame the non called high stick on Hughes in game 1 of the season for all our losses.

  11. Side note, the tribute to Börje Salming tonight was beautiful and I’m happy I got to witness it in person. Incredible player, fuck ALS.

  12. To me, this is more disappointing than last year because we knew Benning was an incompetent idiot and it felt like Green was clinging to a system that didn’t work. Bringing in Bruce and then Rutherford and going on that run felt like there was an opportunity to start fresh and retool and improve. This season is just pure resignation that this roster is irrevocably broken.

  13. Got to see my first Canucks game in personand it was a decent game, got a picture with Henrik Sedin, and was able to congratulate both brothers for making it to the HoF. I don’t care about the loss. I had a a fantastic time.

  14. Why am I even watching this year? We all know they are going to finish out of the playoffs with a mediocre draft pick again.

Wtf is our powerplay? The 2 guys in front of the net just stand there and don’t even move. Meanwhile the 3 perimeter guys are playing hot potato.

  15. Quinn Hughes is so talented and obviously a great hockey player but he got no dawg in him. It looks like he has no soul and just going through the motions (really well)

  16. How has Bear been since he came over? Thought I saw him make some good passes out in the short section I saw.
