1. Barzal gets so much more praise from actual players then fans. People look at production as the only thing but what that man does with the puck game by game is magical. Might be the best player with the puck on his stick in the league minus mcdavid.

2. Barzal makes everyone around him better. I’d love to see somebody with his skill caliber join the team. Is that somebody Kane? Remains to be seen, but Lou fielding offers for a 34 year old is very Lou.

7. I’m always good for fluffing Barzy, but I would be just as happy to never see either Kane anywhere near our roster.

8. As a midseason acquisition for a playoff run, I don’t hate the idea of getting Kane as long as Chicago retains as much salary as they’re allowed (which I think is 50%).

   Gotta keep in mind that Kane isn’t the player he used to be, he doesn’t score nearly as much and he plays zero defense.
