Definitely one of the most dominant post season pitchers ever
That game 7 of the WS was an emotional roller coaster
Still not as good as Bulldog Hersheiser
Unfortunately his back never fully recovered from carrying his entire team to a WS win
Having him come out of the bullpen during Game 7 as a royals fan was very sad and inevitable. What a beast.
I was at that Wild Card game. Man, it was brutal.
Pain
Between MadBum in 2014 & Wade Davis in 2015 anyone watching the Royals run in 14-15 saw two of arguably the most dominant post season pitching performances in baseball history.
I loved watching that WS.
Seeing bum be the young third guy in the rotation in 2010 to pure ascendancy in 2014 is one of my favorite baseball memories of all time.
Thanks for reminding us why we pay him so much
-sad diamondbacks fans
As a Royals fan, I did not enjoy his performance.
He’s younger than I thought as well. I guess it’s because he’s the biggest Boomer in baseball
Prime Roy Halladay was the best.
Plus, he won a truck with technology and stuff.
I’d argue, while somewhat short lived, he’s HOF worthy. You can’t tell the story of that era of baseball without including him.
