  1. I doubt they’re terminating his contract completely. They’re probably just gonna hold back on a bunch of marketing for his line and he wont be getting any of that revenue.

Nike isn’t ethically upstanding enough to terminate a brand new signature athlete that they’ve put a fuck ton of money into. Kyrie was on the last year of his Nike contract so it was a lot easier to just cut ties.

  2. Change it to the Ja Gun 1 and say this whole thing was just a viral marketing campaign

  3. I don’t think this counts as fumbling the bag. More like throwing it away like Josh Allen throws a football.

  4. He flashed his gun knowing he’d lose millions. You think this will be his “come to jesus.” moment? Dude, he’s gonna give some CHATGPT apology, and then do it again before the start of the season.

You want him to actually hold himself accountable? Show him actions have consequences. Suspend him for a year. He knew what he did was wrong because it got him eight games, and then said fuck it and did it again. 11 games ain’t cutting it, send a message or be prepared to read the same headline again.

  5. This whole thing is just kinda sad really.

Ja clearly has some impulse issues as well as self-destructive tendencies, it’s the only explanation to why he keeps doing this shit.

But at the end of the day he’s a grown ass man who is responsibly for his choices.

He really does have a golden ticket, if he played his cards right, took care of his body, by the time he turned 40 he would’ve made enough money to put some away for his not yet born grandkids to retire.

It’s not even like he’s the only NBA player who has a gun, just because of how much money these guys have a lot of them probably do for protection, but he’s the only one that seems to not understand that you don’t wave the fucker around.

  6. We’ll get another fake apology with Jalen Rose and then the count down starts for him to fuck up again.

  7. So it’s possible he threw away literally hundreds of millions of dollars bc he like to play hood.

I feel bad but I also don’t at the same time

  8. Dawg… You know Nike is looking for any excuse to terminate contracts. They are already stretched thin. Take that money and throw it at Victor Wembanyama is the better bet.

  9. Ja having his hair braided with some color got him shook. Living and playing in Memphis you got show your hard and not using those pronouns. So he has to play a part that isn’t him. Gotta flash guns and be gangster. Prove he ain’t tap dancing but crip walking. Tennessee being a Republican state, they come in the night and just take you away when you act and look like you ain’t straight. Ja out their afraid to be Eliot Wilhelm.

Edit: but in all seriousness Ja is a moron for screwing up his career and possibly losing out on millions for being a dumbass for trying to play a gangster and being a fool. And let’s not forget the struggle that people have to go through living in a state like Tennessee. Not being able to live a free life and being persecuted for trying to be expressive and true to the person you are.

  10. It’s nice actually seeing this moron face consequences for his stupidity. So many people that participate in this type of behavior never do, so it’s a very welcome change.

  11. Imagine losing millions of $ because you want to act like a gangsta on instagram

  12. Hope Nike releases a Chatgpt generated statement on why they terminated the Ja relationship

  13. I hope trying to look cool was worth it. Dude is gonna seriously regret this later in life. Only way he can overcome it is by winning an MVP and/or a couple rings
