It makes sense, even if they never officially said it, signing him was the true indicator they never planned to re-sign Bogey and have him take over at SS.
I’m sure it’s why they also entertained Kike at SS to start the season. We aren’t expected to be contenders this year so no need to panic fill the spot.
Hopefully when Trevor is back he can solidify that position and help us finish the year strong
