Happy Memorial Day, everyone. On my mind today is my great uncle, who died when his usaaf plane was shot down over Guadalcanal in 1943. My mom was his favorite niece, and even though it was almost 100 years ago now, he died way too young, and it effected my family for generations. Thinking of him today.
