3. Pass on Bieber. K-rate is way down and his statcast is full of blue. Don’t pay for past performance.

   Rather get Burnes over Bieber.

5. Think about it, though. If the ‘Stros are actually looking at Bieber, you KNOW they see something that they believe they can work with.

   The Astros constantly amaze me at the guys that they pick up that they turn into really good pitchers.

6. Pass on both. Beiber was a sticky stuff merchant, so of course, the Yankees will overpay for him. Soler has terrible defense and is living off 2 weeks in October 2021.

   I’d prefer targeting Stroman.

7. Personally I’d rather get a buy-low candidate that we could potentially fix, without having to give up a king’s ransom in return. I don’t know who that might be – maybe someone like Dylan Cease from the White Sox, if we thought his issues could be fixed? Just spitballing here.
