Said it before and I’ll say it again: Even though I’m not personally sold on him, I can easily believe you if I was told that Smith Jr. goes in the Top 5 via a redraft in a similar vein to O.G.’s demise being greatly exaggerated and him going way later than he otherwise should. His high school tenure showed a lot of promise and even injured he still showed a lot of promise as a prospect.
He’s definitely a riskier pick for a combo guard and I still prefer Keyonte George over him but I have warmed up to Nick considerably recently. Mostly because we’ve gotten to see him when healthy or at least healthier than his college season.
I’m liking this mock. Either George or Smith is my preference
