[Hatfield] Per his player page on MLB.com, it looks like the Red Sox have signed RHP Dinelson Lamet to a minor league deal. Recently released by the Rockies. Definitely worth a flier.

1. Lamet has done well in limited time in the minors the past 2 seasons, but has been just about atrocious at the ML level over that same timeframe.

2. Was decent as a Padre and was a top prospect like 8 years ago. Better upside than Ort.

3. I like this. It probably won’t amount for anything as he’s been hot garbage recently in the majors but who’ll say no to more potential pitching depth?
