AJ Cassavell-Major League Baseball just announced that Angel Perdomo was suspended three games for throwing at Manny Machado last night. Manager Derek Shelton gets a one-game ban as well.

1. They should suspend Shelton for longer, just to be safe. Maybe a decade or two.

2. Not getting the logic of suspending a manager whose pitcher threw at someone, unless they have reason to believe he coached the guy to do it

3. Look I mean, if you think Perdomo was acting intentionally (he was) then I understand suspending him. I think the MLB should do everything in their power to get that stuff out of the game.

   But Shelton? What did he do wrong? He’s always going to defend our guys. If Draymond Green kicks Steven Adams in the nuts, Steve Kerr doesn’t get suspended.

   Also seems like baseball is really really trying to curb intentionally throwing at someone, which is good.

10. Have ANY of these umps even seen Perdomo pitch before? He is marvelously quite wild. Five good pitches, then one to the backstop. He has also always tried to pitch inside… sometimes to the same effect as that to Machado.

11. I say if Kelly wins a game as manager, then he should be the manager. Who says no?
