3. Nah, but it seriously went from “wow they’re eye candy” to the booktok fandom are getting disgusting with the stuff they say about these men with no consent or care about the fact they’re real people. I’ve seen some fucking horrendous things pop into my tiktok feed from some of these women

4. Super interesting to read this and good on her for talking about it – I have no idea how I’d feel in this kind of situation but she articulated her thoughts really well. I have wondered with the Kraken TikTok leaning in on this kind of thing how the players and their families feel about it.

   What has always made me cringe is people that leave super thirsty comments on the players’ own posts where they’re more likely to see them, and the thought of then going the extra mile to send DMs like that too… 😬

   I have obviously 100% left comments about Dunn being attractive on this subreddit, but I feel like Reddit is a bit of a safer space where players probably don’t look. At least I hope not 🫣 If there’s any indication that they do catch me deleting my entire account lmao

5. I mean, it looks like she liked the one comment and sounds like she doesn’t mind most of them. She just don’t want you sliding into her man’s DM’s which I can understand. Otherwise, I think it’s funny and don’t care what anybody has to say about anybody in regards to their attractiveness and hockey. Sex, Blood and Hockey

6. She makes a great point. I’ve seen some stuff on booktok when I first heard of it and other places that was silly fun crushing on players, but some seemed predatory and gave me the ick. It was the thought of significant others and family members of the player seeing that stuff, let alone the player eww.

7. This just gives please don’t steal my husband vibes from an insecure woman. As a woman who’s been sexually harassed should not be doing this to other women we’re better than this. 😂 To complain about sexual-harassment for an athlete is beyond ridiculous. Sorry, I don’t care about your husband’s sexual harassment or your dissertation. Maybe if he made a statement chicks would stay out of his DM’s. Good luck with that.

8. Good on her for talking about it. It’s absolutely one thing to appreciate someone’s attractive looks. Male or female. But if some of the stuff I’ve seen posted about these guys was posted about female athletes, women would be absolutely furious. We have to hold ourselves to the same level of respect we want in return.
