7. I think we could do a trade for one of their less heralded young pitchers. Edward Cabrera or Braxton Garret would both be realistic gets. The issue is, that wouldn’t necessarily help us this year. We would be adding young pitchers who are approaching their career high in innings to a pitching staff with similar issues (Brown, France). If we are trading with the Marlins though it will be pitching coming back, they are desperate for offense and won’t trade away productive players (Soler for example) in the middle of a playoff race.

   Also, I think the Marlins need a CF (Jazz isn’t a good CF, and is hurt, and the other dude who’s name escapes me is also hurt), so Meyers could be thrown in the deal as well if we have higher aspirations.
