Mike Evans in Honolulu Blue?

I’m in… Great immediate lift to the receiver room and someone that Jameson can learn from to get right

  1. He’s in the final year of his contract. Would he be willing to accept a 2 or 3 year contract extension at a reasonable rate for an aging WR in order to secure the trade? If so then we could trade a 3rd for him. Our 3rd round pick will be later in the round, anyway.

  2. He’d be worth a least a 3rd rounder. Let him leave in free agency and end up with a compensatory pick.

  3. Man, Mike Evans on one side, Sun God on the other. Dare I say would be the best wr combo we’ve had in years?

  4. Evans is staying in Tampa at least to start the season. They’ll want to test his compatibility with Baker and Trask before they determine that they have to move on from him. Evans has been with the Buccs for his entire career. They value him more than any other team in the league. It wouldn’t shock me if they are asking for a 1st.

  5. The swift pick would be a good price . He isn’t eligible for a compensatory pick, so the Bucs will literally lose him for nothing especially considering this is a wasted season.
