  1. We would’ve lost anyways… Raiders were moving the ball up and down the field with ease. Easy scapegoat but not the biggest problem with this team.

  2. Definitely needed that extra point but the lack of any QB pressure seems like a bigger issue going forward

  3. We can harp on that all we want, but if the past six years have shown us anything, you’re not going to win much if you cant score more than 16 points per game.

  4. If you can’t convert just one more drive in to points, you are not going win many games let alone beat anyone good.

  5. Zac, the Broncos lost cause our offense sucks.

Oh yeah our Def sucks too

Zero pressure from the front 4,

    Zero pressure when we blitzed,

Russ was too scared to go deep and was Cpt checkdown.

We’ve still got all the same issues from the last 7 years.

  6. Lutz was one of the best kickers in the league. He got injured, worked his way back, and he was actually the leader during Saints preseason camp. The kid we kept was nipping at his heels, and we went with cheaper and younger.

Wil was really upset. He spent his whole career in New Orleans, he loves the city, and he was tearing up in the last preseason game. We cut him, and I think he’s got a case of the yips. If he can settle, he can win games for you.

  7. Honestly I’m so hurt right now I feel like the universe just doesn’t want me to be happy. I feel like I’m just done giving a fuck about football for a bit. I don’t know, I’ve loved the Broncos for so long and to be disappointed so often I’m almost to the point where I just can’t watch anymore. My life has enough problems already, I needed the Broncos to bring me some joy and when they didn’t today it just broke my heart. Maybe I’m mad at myself for expecting a football team to bring me happiness knowing it’s deeper than that I’m just fucked up.

  8. The onside kick is what lost us the game. Handed them 7 points right out of the gate. 4 points doesn’t make up for that. This was 100% on game management.

  9. I put this loss on the defense. If they would have stopped that first drive by the Raiders, it would have given the defense more confidence to step up. Instead, the played tentatively, and gave the receivers too much room. Sean Payton is not going to be happy about this performance.

  10. Shouldn’t have even attempted that field goal. Either go for it on 4th or punt and play field position imo. Just felt like a bad decision in the flow of the game

  11. The idiot kicker deserves a lot of blame, but zero QB pressure and a mediocre offensive effort won’t win games in the NFL. Back to the drawing board, Sean.

  12. Even if he made the kicks we probably still would have lost. The raiders would have been down 3 at the end then kicked to tie instead of kneeling out the last two minutes. Plus they had plenty of time to take a few endzone strikes.

  13. Fucking RedZone offense and shitty place kicking have been killers for Denver for the last 7 years and they were once again. I thought Sean Peyton was an offensive genius. Fucking PATHETIC.

  14. Another turrible season coming up. I tried to get excited but the dullness the broncos bring is disappointing. Russ is washed…time to tank for Caleb…

  15. As if raiders didn’t kneel instead of going for points. Blaming the kicker is low hanging fruit, the tougher reality is this has started as a deja vu of last year. No pass rush and no explosive plays on offense—different coach same outcome

  16. Larry David has suggested getting rid of kickers and punters and just letting the offenses use all 4 downs to try and get first down. I know the football purists would hate this idea, but I’m all for it.

He compared letting kickers and punters, who he rightfully called “non-football players” that do “non-football things”, to letting a frog jump through a hoop to decide football games.

    Ban kickers and punters.
