3. We’re also a highly superstitious bunch. So please avoid challenging the Universe while you’re watching the game. Examples of things to avoid saying; “omg, we’re winning by so much, this is in the bag!” “Travis has to score this game!” “He better not get hurt” “it’s the Jets, it’s a guaranteed win” or really anything else the Universe could use against us. Because it will. Just keep the faith and welcome to the Kingdom!

   

4. Curious. You just now seeing this, or just felt like reposting it? Not digging at you, but this was everywhere Sunday and Monday, however if you are just seeing it I get the post.

6. Other things to add onto this list:

   1) There are 2 Confrences within the NFL; the American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC). XFL and USFL are not part of the NFL (at the time of writing this).

   2) Within each conference are Divisions split between North, South, East, and West. No, the team part of each Division are not always going to be located in that direction in the USA. For example, the Chiefs are located dead center of the landlocked states in Kansas City while all the other teams of the AFCWest are over more westward.

   3) Within each division are 4 teams, who all hate each other within some degree or for some reason. No, there will be no peace talks, only friendly banter and trash-talking. And as much as you hear about fans fighting fans, please do not start a physical fight, we prefer to not get hurt if and whenever possible (thats our own teams job).

   4) The best team in the Division will be given the title of Division Champion, as well as a guaranteed playoff spot. No, the title is meaningless, it just means you were better then three other teams.

   5) There is no wrong team to root for, but understand that if its not the Chiefs or whoever is facing the Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, Cowboys, Patriots, Bills or Bengals, qe will be very disappointed in you. (If any of the above teams are playing against each other, root for a tie game)

13. As a wife of a lifelong Chiefs fan, thank you for this. I watch with him, but I don’t always understand what’s happening. I just know to get ready to high five when they make a touchdown. Oh, and I know that Mahomes is a God.

18. Also, we really, really do not like the Raiders and Broncos. We also don’t much care for the Chargers, either, but they always find a way to mess things up in the end. Sometimes the chargers win in KC, but it’s nothing to panic over. They will in turn get stomped at their house, with a stadium that has more of our fans in attendance than theirs.

20. I’m a Packer fan and a Swifty… not entirely sure what I’m doing here but it seems necessary. I did root for you guys in the super bowl tho, Mahomes reminds me a lot of Rodger’s play style.
