  1. This has been discussed a lot recently. People think Middleton can make it happen with his billions of dollars, but it’s just not true. Venezuelans just aren’t able to get visas and haven’t been for a few years due to their mess of a country. It’s an absolute shame. I hate it for Jose, but the visa process is so long, just to get a denial because their country is in shambles. It’s not fair for the people who want to visit our country just to watch their kid/dad play ball, but it is what it is. Hoping the story gains traction and the government is listening, ya never know.

  2. The US and Venezuela do not have diplomatic relations after what we view as election fraud. It sucks but it’s not something anyone can affect now.

  3. This is totally uninformed, but I’m
surprised he can’t get his family to an alternative location, like Canada or a Caribbean nation that would be easier for him to visit. I would have expected that if Alvarado could buy property somewhere he’d be able to get his immediate family there on some sort of visa or maybe even get them a passport.

  4. The really big problem Jose and all Venezuelan guys have is the lack of law and order there. The scum bags know these guys make decent to incredible money. Heck we ALL make incredible money compared to Venezuelans. I’m sure Jose has to pay for 24 hour security for his relatives. Even there the corrupt government will look the other way for a piece of the kidnapping pie.
