[Hollinger] My spies say that the Hawks also have described rookie guard Kobe Bufkin as untouchable…]

From an overall good article from John Hollinger discussing the Hawks. He doesn’t have anything new about other trade rumours, but it is interesting that the Hawks seem very high on Bufkin, making him untouchable in trade discussions.

  1. I’ll eat crow 100% if Kobe is good. I just really don’t see it at all — he’s Gary Harris at best. I’ll say I am wrong tho if he’s good

  2. Kobe seems legit.  He and Trae and Jalen will fit really well into a starting line up together.  Maybe not this year, but in the next two.  His biggest weakness right now is turnovers and Trae and JJ will be handling the rock a lot so whatever.  He is super elite at attacking the rim though.   High upside.

  3. Idk if anyone watch the Skyhawks games much but he is dominating the GLeague since he’s come back from injury. 25 PPG. Outplaying multiple lottery guys from his class over there. Basically the same thing JJ did his rookie year over there but the guard version.

  4. Ok cool, now call him up, let the man get his feet wet , last night would have been a perfect time .

  5. If you haven’t watched him in College Park, you really need to. His game is really similar to Trae’s but he’s 5 inches taller.

  6. He hasn’t played any real game time in ATL. This time last year we had AJ as untouchable as well, but he was showing something real.

We need to be getting sure things, not projecting. Not to say we should trade him for draft picks, but if a real player comes back in a return, or a guaranteed high draft pick after the lottery, he should be on the table.
