1. Fun fact: the Bucs have more playoff wins during Cameron Jordan’s career than the Saints. The Bucs did not make the playoffs in the first 9 years of that.

4. The Saints should be very bitter about the Bucs. By and large, they’ve dominated the Bucs in regular seasons. But the Bucs won a Super Bowl recently and the Saints haven’t.

8. Saints were Buc-level of historically bad pre-Brees. It seems some of these idiots forget that fact and think themselves special. It was always Brees carrying that team, was pretty obvious.

9. Cam Jordan is 34 years old. He had 2 sacks last year. His cap hit is north of $23 million next year, and the Saints literally cannot cut him because his dead cap would exceed any savings, and his contract is using up 9.5% of the Saints’ cap. If I’m reading Over the Cap correctly, the Saints can actually cut him post-June 1 next year for at least some cap savings. He has a godawful contract, and is currently nothing more than a giant, whiny-ass anchor on the Saints’ salary cap, and he is emblematic of all the trouble that franchise is in.

   Let him whine. Considering what he’s doing to the Saints’ roster in terms of their cap flexibility, I’m just a huge fan right now.

18. I hate Cam Jordan and I love Ryan Jensen, but to be honest, I don’t blame Cam Jordan. He called him a dirty after-the-play guy, and Jensen absolutely does whatever he can to provoke guys on other teams after the play. A lot of times he does it when the cameras are angled somewhere else and the refs aren’t looking, but every once in a while you’ll see it. He’ll quickly reach up and tug on someone’s beard, little shoves here and there, and so on. Jensen is always hunting for the other team to react and foul him with something the refs will definitely see.

    I don’t hate Ryan Jensen for that, but I can definitely see how opposing defenders might pick him out as one of the guys they hate the most.
