[Music] this is an unbelievable  accomplishment by people that said   we can do it not complaining about  how hard it is and looking at the   obstacles I tip my hat to them I think  it’s fantastic congratulations on your   100th episode congratulations congratulations  congratulations on 100 weird NHL’s 100 weirds

At it run us through the play and what was going  through your mind and your memories of it I’m kind   of scared what you’re going to pull up here on oh  yeah I had no idea I think that was my 100th game  

Maybe and I was wearing new jerseys every period  for who knows what reason I didn’t even notice it   was on upside down nobody did I think like halfway  through the third one the trainers was like this  

See your jersey and I was like what I looked at  I’m like I I didn’t even notice at the time I was   like it looks fine no yeah honest mistake I think  unless someone was really trying to get me going  

And get me a prank there people were saying like  martinook was like flipped it upside down like   he doesn’t know how to sew things like he’s not  in the back sewing my logo upside down but like  

That logo you can’t even tell like I what say  who’s the that notic someone’s got a great eye   and it will be Conor McDavid that will take the  penalty shot yeah you already know what it is  

Of course yeah McDavid bobbl the puck and that  eliminates the play there’s a smile on my face   in the video but uh I was not feeling that on  the inside it was actually a big moment of the  

Game but we do score like 10 seconds later  so um that made me feel a little bit better   but you know obviously anytime that happens on a  penalty shot it’s uh super embarrassing couldn’t  

Make the play and now the other way the Devils  again H falls down a this is just one of those   games a full moon tonight wow that’s not the way  you want to make the Highlight yeah not how you  

Want to make the Highlight but what happened was  I had no speed the guy had speed I was going to   get caught either way topick look like a fool  and that was that was pretty much it and Jack  

Hughes is demanding the puck tonight whoa just  fell down lost a shoe there yeah like listen to   Ray Ferraro he knows if you listen to the clip  he goes he’s demanding the puck tonight game  

Seven and I do that and I’m pretty sure we gave  up a scoring chance too so that was the boys G me   some in the locker room even though it was game  seven they gave me some uh some of the business  

A great game so it evens out the broken stick and  then the confusion at the bench he’s trying to go   back to grab a new stick he has to duck another  stick now he doesn’t have a stick he leaves his  

Feet and from there he’s not able to recover and  you can see Shan C put it in the net oh I wanted   that one I didn’t get any of them yep I remember  this now I got no stick and they’re going to score

Too oh my gosh that was so good okay so I remember  that someone was trying to hand me a lefty stick   first I’m like I definitely don’t want that one  so I tried to limbo it to get the righty stick no  

That was Carlos that was a righty I’m just an  idiot then I tried to grab my stick which our   equipment manager had instead of Carlos shouldn’t  have done that well there’s the assist tonight   exping maro’s visor making sure it’s all clean as  Maro set him up for that hatrick goal before every  

Period I take a little water and spray it like  down my chest and on my back sometimes there’s   some Ricochet to whoever’s to the right or left  of me and as the season started going on more guys  

Would kind of do this to get to block themselves  obviously in this video marshy didn’t block   himself so he was just sitting there with water  all over his visor and you could tell he wanted  

Me to wipe it off so I grabbed a quick towel wiped  it off I did score a hatrick that game so we were   in Good Moods on the bench Malin Powers his way  out the center kicks around off the body toward  

The up and it’s in oh wait a minute I think cadri  ends up putting that c off another Leaf that’s   a nice one oh yeah I do remember that I haven’t  seen these in so long I completely forgot about  

That hey I think Mo tipped that in the net let’s  get a rewind there and a instant replay I tried   to bump it back to him it was a little bit heavy  but I think it went off his stick into the Nets  

Yeah didn’t it you guys saw that Mo that’s on you  man who gets that goal did Gino get that goal it   looked like it blessed blessed he must had a good  season that year barzel sitting on that pass PL  

It in front and the Smith made the sa where’s the  puck they score the Smith couldn’t get it covered   Anders Lee has tied the score I don’t know where  the puck it’s on his body it was laying on top of  

Him I’ve never seen that guys no me neither and  obviously Kelly southernland saw yeah this was a   crazy bounce I mean it just was laying there on  his stomach and it just barely got to it before  

Uh Peterson there I’d seen a play where it was  like stuck on top of like when the goalie is in   a butterfly if it’s stuck on the top of the back  of his Pad it’s just sitting on the pad the brus  

Finds it first and it’s 3-1 but I think it was  Kelly who saw it he was the referee at the time   and he saw it and didn’t blow the whistle cuz  it wasn’t covered so great eye on that to to  

Keep the play alive and like I said just lucky I  saw it before the D Man Tim stutler during the TV   timeout goes over and has a little conversation  or not even a conversation a look with his buddy  

Fredy kachuck little smile laughing at each other  but it’s a long season and sure there’s an inside   joke in there somewhere yeah I don’t know why  he was laughing so hard about that whole thing  

But um once I saw him laughing I couldn’t keep it  together I was like why come on I’m just chilling   in here why you trying to make me laugh he’s lost  his skap plade in front of the unipeg bench and  

He’s trying to get off the ice with only one leg  look at him hop back in behind the pl that’s great   effort by Jos wary I remember this one well I  mean you can see I’m kind of laughing on the bench  

There I mean you see a lot of guys where they  can’t get up and I think that’s kind of actually   as graceful as it could be got a Little Help From  My Buddy Troy there so yeah as funny as that one  

Is I’m really not embarrassed I’m actually like  kind of like wow I handled that pretty solid to   get off the ice so I’m more laughing in air at  my old shoulder pads that are uh a little bigger  

Than what I have now got the linebacker look going  you were complaining about me eating a salad yeah   potassium keep the pottassium up have the banana  on the bench I thought it was coffee first and  

He’s like no P it’s Pepsi it’s good for you good  for sugar I just couldn’t believe it I was like   wow wow you’re kidding me you really got Pepsi and  a banana never tried it never heard of it I mean  

Or I’ve seen guys had Coke or Pepsi on the bench  before but to mix it with a banana was something   new pornb now trying to settle it down had his  stick knocked out of his hands grin up with it  

Grin across BB still [Applause] your yeah guys  slashed my stick out of my hand and at the end of   the game it was end of my shift I was pretty tired  I’m sure they were pretty tired to at the end of  

Overtime so I think he was like I said just kind  of took a break and uh thought I was out of the   play and uh didn’t realize the magic of the granal  there he could see everywhere on the ice so I  

Was just trying to get open for for granny and he  found me that’s a sneaky move you try to disappear   you see here like this guy’s like he’s out of the  play and then just comes out of the out of nowhere  

It’s a it’s a pretty effective play maybe I should  try it a little bit more look out here good bounce   la oh what a play by Dylan lurin and heric what a  play by Lin to knock it away from Arson to keep it  

Alive down L Go 44 with 41 seconds to go I kind of  remember that I couldn’t believe that I caught up   to him and you know it’s kind of a shinny hockey  move to go like through the guy’s legs and I’ve  

Never really done it before but I kind of Dove and  just knocked it off it it it worked out perfect   and then after I remember being exhausted and then  we made it up the ice and I was standing by the  

Net I was so tired you could kind of just feel  when we had the puck in the zone that you know   the crowd was going nuts I just felt like we were  going to score and that was a special moment the  

Guys were fired up and uh the building was fired  up it was it was really loud so it was it was H   it was pretty cool a race for the Pucket Center  Robertson a breakaway for the hatrick and overtime  

He scores what a night extra energy all that  he had left in the bag that was a pretty funny   moment you can’t see In that clip but I was out  there about a minute and a half I think I actually  

Just turned the puck over in that moment I think I  made an errant pass and turned it over and then uh   I was debating on changing on the back check and  just like I was so so out of gas but I ended up  

Staying out there and uh ended up scoring getting  tripped and falling in the board I just remember   like just I I so out of breath couldn’t breathe I  think it’s very unique but very honest I was very   tired it’s Conor McDavid all alone nobody close  he almost stumbles twice continues on and scores  

Not many guys can almost go down on a clearcut  breakaway keep going and make it look that easy   that’s sick actually I’ll tell you that right now  because he did stumble twice and McDavid laughing  

As he nearly toe picked at Center Ice recovered  staggered his way in and I’d like to say he came   in with speed Jack but it’s about the slowest  looking Breakaway Conor mcdavid’s ever been on in  

His life yeah I remember uh it’s always exciting  when uh you get a breakaway kind of get tripped   up a little bit tripped up myself uh a few times  along the way but eventually I made it down to the  

Other end and pretty happy it went in otherwise uh  that would have been pretty uh embarrassing but uh   the boys had lots of fun with that one for sure  joining us from the Rangers benches Adam Fox Adam   first off congratulations on the news yesterday  I know it’s something that you had been wanting  

For a whole long time now that desire is re  reality what are the prevalent emotions you feel Adam can you hear me uh we apologize for those technical  difficulties for the 3,000 M stretch between   New York and Vancouver that was I’m going to  blame the pr team right there they’re behind  

The camera here but yeah they they threw me out to  the fire mik wasn’t working and I didn’t notice in   the moment the Zamboni honk but that kind of  makes it little bit funnier going to use this

And wants the puck and my whole length of the  ice I’m trying to think of what move I’m going   to do and I can just hear him just barking at  me I’m with you I’m with you yeah it’s one of  

Those things I feel like it’s the weird dynamic  in hockey where if you have like a 2on 0 and if   you take it as a breakaway it might be the more  practical thing looking at this I didn’t sell  

It great that goalie UC SOS is not easily fooled  either I will say that he’s always been hard to   play against and I did not fool him there so  looking back on it kind of wish I would have  

Just taken it but if Trevor zis is open you’re  going to give him the puck it surprised me that   Troy Terry did not take that shot well those are  the two guys if you want to have a two on all that  

You want the maneuver was pretty good but you can  see if I would have just held on to this Puck and   like instead of dropping it just like tucked it  in like he was just he was like waiting for it  

You see what I’m saying like that’s the thing is  he is not like most go he’s smaller he is good at   guessing where the puck is going cuz he’s one of  those guys you shoot the puck and you’ll feel like  

You put it in the top corner and when you look up  it hits him in the chest cuz he’s moving into it   like he’s just one of those goalies yeah he uh he  read me there maybe he heard Trevor calling for  

It from the far Blue Line swing and a miss on the  hit well not just a swing and a miss cadri went   up and over the boards it’s on national TV tonight  they’re going to show that 60,000 times yeah yeah  

I remember everybody giving it to me you know I  got I got chirp pretty pretty heavy after that   game so you know what it is what it is man that’s  that’s what happens when you play hard sometimes  

Uh everything doesn’t go go as planned C what a  finish taking his man into the end of to bench   and he’s all smiles he got back on to the ice oh  yeah no I see him coming and lifts me up a little  

Bit and then I don’t have the glaster to kind  of fence myself to so it’s uh I was just smile   I thought it was funny that got into the McDavid  and the Boyer and had a little quick moment with  

Them so fun moments with the pass between the L  and that bar scores what a move and the Panthers   tie the game at one so he made it look like he was  going to go and make that move between the legs or  

He brings it back against Carolina you pretty much  never get that much time and space for fortunately   the defenseman saw me all alone in front of the  net and I think from this angle that’s my goto  

Move I don’t want any other goalie to hear this  but that’s my go-to move and uh fortunately it   worked practicing it quite a lot like ice rings  outside back home in Finland when I was younger  

And now I get to do this in NHL in the playoffs  and In This Moment he was pretty special for me   now paret for the leg score yes sir a spectacular  goal you saw person did you see that I saw us wide  

Open I actually didn’t know what I was going  to do but then that came up my mind and uh yeah   it was actually perfect shot from that angle bar  down I was really shocked he went in so I didn’t  

Know how to celebrate so I just Shrugged it off  Lucas reel and Tim stla from Germany compatriots   that’s a friendly Embrace don’t you think stinky  glove rub there between the two guys and they’re   laughing at each other I love that I’ve played  with luky for a while and I’ve always played  

Against him so yeah he’s a really good friend of  mine so I wasn’t going to fight him and I don’t   think he he wasn’t going to fight me either  so yeah we just went kind of joke around and  

I grabbed them and he was pretty mad about it  because he said he couldn’t breathe it’s always   good and um he’s such a great player and fun to  watch so uh I don’t think he has to fight into the  

Slot Patrick goal for the captain well the hats  rain down on the ice but so did the blade of the [Applause] goldendelight.com for the celebration  I love it I love it that was nice what a beauty   yes no so what’s funny is that my friend George  KD plays uh football and he that’s his like third  

Down celebration he does like that thing so we had  been talking before the game and he’s like you got   to do it if you score I’m like all right sure but  it didn’t come off as well with the gloves but uh  

Next time you watch the ners he’s going to do it  every time he gets the first down it’s actually   for that so it’s a little different than what  people thought as tanip and the Canuck start up

The corner gets tied up with the defenseman has a  problem getting his stick out and he’s working it   working it and then he says the heck with it I’ll  go get a new stick I don’t even remember it being  

That big of a struggle gosh yeah so I went in and  got hit and my stick got stuck in the glass and it   actually became like a pretty big ordeal I think  one of the fans helped smack it back with her cell  

Phone and smashed her screen and I think she came  to a game a year later and we got to meet her and   appreciate the assist on that but it’s the first  time and the last time I think that’ll ever happen  

Michael P with a chance to win it cuts in the  middle scores and he rides the stick and get at   the point to all the fans guess we’re learning to  expect the unexpected I just remember looking at  

The bench like did that just happen you know  we all love Pez I think that’s a moment that   he’ll never forget and he made the most of it for  sure and it also won us the game so we’re happy

One where the puck is in the that they score how  bizarre is this I knew it went in the whole time   but went off my skate so fast and in behind the  I don’t know what it is there the the plastic  

At the bottom or the wrap they have at the bottom  of the that there but yeah I was stuck back there   he’s going shot that one goes wide Big Bounce and  scored it comes off the boards and hits to court  

In the cheek and carams in off of his melon yeah  that’s exactly what I tried to the bang of the B   of course s little lane I didn’t hit the net but  luckily bounced in of the boards uh had some good  

Luck there but yeah of course uh great lucky  bounce and sometimes you need those and yeah   it was great to have that one gets a return  strong walks it in his shot def Flex on that  

Score a fortunate bounce for Washington is it hit  the shoulder or head right off the helmet so Strow   just tried to shoot that and it got the deflection  by columus player and then it just uh randomly hit  

The hit me to the head and it just bounced to the  net and it was really really cool even after a   game I I got into Obi I asked Obie like oh oh did  you ever score the goal like that really special  

Moment you know one of the top goals I ever  score power back laring in looks to C luck and   scores good lucky off a skate and it banked off  the defenseman skate right back to Dylan and he  

Just smoked it into the open side yeah like Mickey  said I got lucky tried to get it to copper and he   stopped the pass but it came right back to me and  I think it kind of handcuffed him a little bit so  

Uh just bounc right back to me and one of those  where if you mean to do it it could be kind of a   good play but I didn’t mean to do that at all it  just was was very lucky this was when the Blue  

Jackets went on the ice there it is I’m not the  only guy in the building that gets scared every   single time here in Columbus Canon goes up do  not jump out of your your shoes we’ve seen it before Boom the one of the most embarrassing  moments were probably being scared of the cannon  

Whenever we visit there as a we team would’ always  get me and at the All-Star Game it got me but now   uh being a blue jacket uh I’m good with it now  John tarz can win the game lost the handle on  

It and that will end it that has to be a tad bit  embarrassing yeah that’ll be on a few highlight   reel not one of my finest stick handling moments  I think just before that either a game but maybe  

The game before a couple games prior I had a four  goal game too so I had a hot stick coming in and   obviously it seemed to cool off in that moment  so we get paid to play the game and uh it’s funny  

How we can still make uh some simple mistakes  and yeah not uh not one of my fondest moments   for [Music] sure great here’s Morgan Baron 2 on oh  Sams off another stop and another oh did you see

He just could have held on a second longer yeah  let’s take a look at Mark Stone’s knob hey it’s   it’s something else it’s always I when I played  against him it stands out but butch that means  

A lot of guys sort of you put the palm of your  hand almost over half of the top of your stick   not with him he’s holding on right there he’s got  a grip on it it changes the angle of everything
