  1. Don’t just pray, vote people like Parsons (our governor) and Hawley out and demand for gun control from whoever represents you so this doesn’t happen again. People lose their jobs if they are disrupting the flow of any other job. We are their bosses it’s time to fire them

  2. Prayers don’t help her family. They help people who are unimpacted feel better like they did something. If you want to do something, donate to CMH, donate to her family, or lobby to change gun laws.

I’m so sick of people rushing to remind others to pray or get religion involved. You’re not helping at all. Enough with thoughts and prayers…

  3. Praying for her family and wishing for some common sense gun laws. You can do both and I personally believe both have the power to help.

  4. Fuck your thoughts and prayers. If this was God’s will and master plan then praying does nothing and means nothing. I’m so tired of all this. I don’t know what the right answer is, but I do know this. Thoughts and prayers as a solution means more dead kids.

  5. if you are calling for gun control on this post. i think you are sick tbh. you want another violent act to precede a violent act that took this womans life. focusing on the wrong things and makes me even sadder than i already was about all this violent bs.

  6. Gun control isn’t blinking 300+ million guns out of existence. This is deeply rooted cultural decadence.

  7. Yes. Pray the guns and violence away.

How about being proactive or even reactive. Donate money. Do a food drive in her name. Vote on legislation or for who you want to see crack down on gun violence.

Praying is fine if that’s your belief, but that does nothing to help. It makes you feel like a better person without any actual response to the incident.

Edited to add: If you ARE gonna sit around fucking praying, do it while donating blood.

  8. Common sense gun control is needed. I don’t have a single issue with people that hunt or go shooting in a safe environment like a gun range.

The argument that someone needs an AK or an AR-15 is completely bogus. Those weapons were designed to kill humans in a military setting.

You don’t see people hunting deer or pheasant with one of those weapons. Even boar hunting could be done with a hunting rifle.

They are not needed for home protection. A pistol is more than enough to cover a home invasion.
