We all know how much DeCosta consults with Lamar about which WR’s from Florida he should consider drafting.

  1. We also know at this point we should trust Steve Smith Sr’s evaluation of that position based on guys he has been high on over the years like Kupp and our very own Zay Flowers. Just so happens that Steve is also high on this kid as well.

Definitely would not be disappointed at all if they took a flyer on him with the 93rd pick.

Although at this point I think I would rather hedge bets and take that RB out of Notre Dame who deserves his own thread in Audric Estime out of Notre Dame.

Edit: I just saw the clip hadn’t actually watched the interview. Im even more impressed by this kid now. They can take him with a 2nd rounder and I’d be good with it. It hedges bets if Rashod Bateman doesn’t turn out or even if he has a breakout year it can be a succession plan just like the Ravens have with Queen with Simpson.

  2. Tbh with Corley, he’s great at yac, but he’s too small, what the receiving room needs is a contested catch guy with height, he’d be the second shortest out of the main guys, and a lot of his yardage comes from similar things to zay and played a good chunk in the slot. And he’s not particularly a deep threat, also and I know you shouldn’t focus on these things but pff doesn’t grade him particularly highly compared to some guys who will be there in the third.

The other guy I don’t know too much about, if it’s me I’m looking at either Ricky pearsall from Florida or Jermaine burton from Alabama, in my opinion the first two rounds shouldn’t go to a receiver because classes like corner fall off pretty quickly after the second, but the third will have some great guys like I mentioned
