Drafting Pekka Rinne was like hitting a literal lottery. Getting a guy that good for a mister irrelevant pick has set us up solidly for about a decade and a half. If we didn’t have Pekka I frankly don’t know how our last or next ten years look.
Wow. This team absolutely would not be here today without Pekka. He played on so many bad teams and dragged them kicking and screaming into the playoffs. I hate so damn much we couldn’t get him a Cup.
