1. Stars traded for Tanev night before last, they thumped Winnipeg last night and I am going to see Dune 2 tonight.

   Pretty solid stretch of nights.

3. Here’s a random question kiddoes – occasionally I’ll remember that Jacob Peterson exists and wonder why he isn’t currently up playing with SJ. Looks like he’s put up 22 pts in 40 GP with their AHL team which isn’t exactly amazing production, but surely Petey is good enough to warrant a bottom-six spot on this current Sharks team, right? Is this a cap issue, or am I just missing something?

4. Looking at some numbers, and noticed that Wyatt and Stankoven as a pair/duo have much better stats without Benn. 4 goals to 1 against through 4 games. (For whatever reason, 2 of these goals don’t register as line goals so Benn must’ve been off the ice.) Corsi% and XGF% vs. XGA are also better. Small sample set though.

5. They better make the playoffs because I told my friend to buy a pair of green and black boots for the stars making the playoffs. If they don’t then I have to pay her for the boots

Saw somewhere that because of the Tanev deal and how well its structured we still have roughly 2mill for another free agent. and people on twitter and TSN saying that “they look like They aren’t done”. if we could sign another big name defensemen like [Nick seeler](https://www.nhl.com/flyers/player/nick-seeler-8476372), [Jakob Chychrun](https://www.nhl.com/senators/player/jakob-chychrun-8479345) or [Tyler Myers](https://www.nhl.com/canucks/player/tyler-myers-8474574) this team will be stacked on all sides. All star goalie, Strong defensive core and top 5 Offence in the league
