3. Remember, that also comes with the tradeoff of higher risk as well. The big play that should’ve won the 49ers the super bowl was a big lateral to Christian MacAffrey that punished how aggressive Spanos can be.

   I look forward to stopping more of the other team’s 2 minute drills. But don’t be surprised if we give up big plays as well when some of our dudes don’t hold up in man coverage.

6. Hopefully this isn’t a complete flip flop where the defense starts stopping bad QBs only and gets shredded by the elite.

   What confused me about the defense last year is how they made good QBs Impatient by not allowing deep passes/big plays, but allowed bad QBs to play into their strengths shred them with short throws leading to career games for them.
