  1. The game begins. Reality is we have him for one more year plus franchise tags. He doesn’t really have the ability to force a trade. Hopefully it doesn’t resort to that.

  2. Trust in lynch to get it done, but would be so sad if aiyuk plays for another team next year

  3. Deebo V2. Has a career year, goes to the SB, then suddenly starts acting like he was mistreated to get the bag.

  4. Niners are probably waiting until the summer to get a deal(like usual). His agent plus his close friend Deebo are probably telling him to do the typical WR antics(social media stuff, then request a trade etc)

  5. We don’t need to see every social media post he makes ppl. Didn’t Deebo situation teach yall anything?

  6. Man I get wanting to get that bag but he had the best season of his career and if he ends up getting paid it’s 100% because of Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers. Like I don’t want to lose the dude but have an ounce of grace.

  7. Hate that he’s playing any kind of games, but I just don’t understand why anyone would want to leave this situation. In his 4 years in the league he has been to the NFC Championship game 3 straight times, with one SB appearance. That’s more postseason success than 99% of NFL players ever get, all on his rookie contract. He’s set up to be a high paid WR1 who will make at least 100 million on any contract from the Niners. While playing with a stud young QB, Deebo opposite him, CMC and Kittle still in their prime.

I feel like you’d have to be an absolute moron to give all that up. Especially when the difference would be a few million a year – when he’s already going to be making 9 figures, what does that really matter?

  8. Same shit deebo did. I just hope he doesn’t come back sloppy in the same way.

  9. Who cares. This is business. If he stays I will root for him like always. If he leaves… fuck him. It’s simple.

  10. These divas lucky front office isn’t petty or theyd trade him to the panthers 😂😂

  11. I really fucking hate wide receivers man…

This is a guy who could have easily had been cut a couple of years ago because he had no motivation. Now he has a good year and this is what we get.

  12. Negotiating in public is so lame, especially when you can’t see the terms. He’s just trying to rattle the fans so we can get pissy at Lynch for not extending him already.

  13. Why are wide receiver’s such bitches

You really want to give up your connection with Purdy and go to a worse team?

  14. Honestly, seeing how easy it is for teams to let go of their tenured players, I don’t blame Aiyuk for doing what he’s doing.
With how physical the sport is, you never know which contract will be your last.

  15. I mean if the niners are actively fielding offers and it’s coming out in the public, the players should be able to use media in their favor as well. Aiyuk might be the best WR in the league right now and deserves to be paid and treated like one

  16. Deebo did the same thing. QBs and WRs do this. It’s the meta to getting paid. Don’t take it personally, our FO definitely isnt.

  17. I would tell him to play out this year and if he can muster his first great playoff game of his career we will extend him.

  18. People are saying this is Deebo 2.0, but Deebo didn’t do pathetic, me-first postgame interviews after losing huge games in the playoffs nor was he attention-seeking this hard. I remember his brother being the one stoking the flames to the point of Deebo telling him to chill and here we have BA and his family stoking the flames.

  19. Lifelong Niners fan here and this is how to have the franchise fans turn on you 101.

I love Deebo too, but after his shenanigans, I’ll never view him in the same light again.

Grow up. Do your job. Let your agent do his. Things will fall into place.

p.s. after further inspection, maybe he does need a bag since he’s rocking the non-pro model of the iPhone 15 🤣

  20. To be honest, I’m indifferent when players do all that social media stuff and play hardball on their end.

The NFL is a cutthroat business. Arik Armstead was asked to take a paycut after 9 seasons of service with the team. He refused so they cut ties. And by all accounts it was the right move for the team to make. Guys are going to come and go, NFL careers are short. The same players viewed as guys they must keep are often also viewed as guys who need to be cut for salary cap reasons within 2 years or so.

As a fan I get how people could see all that “wide receiver diva” theatrics as annoying. But I also get players understanding they’re ultimately expendable and getting in their feels over the business side of things too.

  21. If hes on the team next year, great, if not, we probably got a 1st for him and some change, so also great, we can trade up for oline or double dip on an o line and receiver in the first

  22. Why do all elite NFL receivers have to act like Jesus Christ himself doesn’t have their aura

  23. I mean it’s objectively funny so I get why he would like it, even more funny for him because he’s fucking with us. If he’s still here after the draft he’s not going anywhere

  24. Trade Aiyuk for Mike Evans and some change we good never thought Aiyuk was a team based player

  25. I hate it when players threaten to hold out. And then show up out of shape in camp and never recover their previous form.

Paying Deebo doesn’t look like a super great decision since he’s been hurt a lot since we paid him.

I am skeptic about paying these WRs.

  26. I think we need to stop rewarding this behavior so it doesn’t happen every offseason tbh

  27. off season at its worse. lets just the fo can get s deal done. deebo did the same shit. players really shouls be banned from social media

  28. I’m done following all of this speculation. It looked bad from Samuel too and everything turned out alright.

  29. Bruh I really don’t care lmaooo the antics is lame like we treated him so badly. Grass ain’t always greener on the other side so test your logic and see how far it gets you.

  30. All I’m saying is bruh….. Purdy is gonna have to get paid sooner or later so we are gonna have to cut deebo or aiyuk. Hopefully we win the Superbowl this upcoming season

  31. It was only like two years ago that we were thinking of cutting him so get what we can and let him go

  32. Don’t want him to go but if it’s going to happen what’s his trade value?

Not to be a homer but at least a 1st has to be the floor. AJ Brown netted 18 overall and a 3rd. Aiyuk’s another year into his contract but he’s also got another year of proven performance. Either way whoever is trading him will sign him to a LTD.

The partner I’ve been thinking about is the Jets at 10. That front office couldn’t care less what cap issues they expose themselves to in 2028. They’re in win now and no one available in the draft at 10 is better than Aiyuk. For the 9ers it’s a chance to take a Tackle and still keep 31 open for BPA.

Of course the lesson of the AJ Brown trade is not trade AJ Brown. So please pay the man!

  33. Same shit, different player. They do this in an effort to get paid by their current team. Ge won’t be going anywhere.
