  1. god i love Nimmo

but man it’s tough to figure out what opportunities mark is gonna get. sure, he’s got the first 10 games or so when JD is ramping up in the minors, but after that? he and JD basically do the same thing, and while his .802 OPS in Spring and consistently hard hit balls in play is promising, will it be enough to give him enough ABs?

  2. Nimmo is turning into a real leader for this team, love that. Glad he’s locked up for a while

  3. One thing that has made Nimmo become a really solid everyday player has been how he’s really listened to leadership’s suggestions of what he needs to improve, and he’s put tons of focused work in to make the adjustments. A big difference, though, is that he showed good command of the strike zone early, which Mark has not. I think that makes Mark’s hill steeper to climb.

  4. I love Brandon. It’s great seeing a young kid grow into a vital part of the team like we’ve seen with him. Glad they’ve locked him down

  5. If anyone can set the example/give advice about being undervalued by the Mets but overcoming it, its Nimmo. That said, still a tough pill for MV because JDM is a clear block to not just his position, but also his roster spot.

  6. Nimmo’s career progression is truly fascinating to me. I’ve been a big fan of him since he was drafted but never in my wildest dreams did I think he’d be a clubhouse leader.
