  1. Thank you to our 10-day contracts and rookies for bringing this game to a respectable looking score.

  2. Not a game we were supposed to win but lackluster nonetheless. It’s inexcusable how bad our offense is without Embiid. I can’t believe Maxey really scored nearly all our first quarter points by himself.

I’ve said it after the last few games but it’s criminal to not give Ricky Council some of the minutes that Tobi and KJ eat up. He plays with a ton of confidence and needs some real NBA mins that aren’t garbage time to show what he can do. If Tobi played with C4’s confidence and tenacity, he would have been an all star by now.

  3. I miss physically and mentally healthy Ben Simmons. 2018 Ben wins this game over TobiASS.

  4. wow those final minutes with Ricky Council, Cam Payne, and DJ Wilson got me hyped for a brief moment.

  5. I don’t wanna wish a serious injury on anybody.

But can Tobias like pull a hammy or sum shit so he is not on my screen committing basketball terrorism. Or maybe Nick Nurse say he’s sick with a case of being a pussy. Cause man for someone who is 6’8” dude plays like a drunk dad at planet fitness.

  6. I watch our defense and I’m honestly pretty happy.

I watch our offense and I get depression

  7. If I’m gonna take anything positive from this, it’s nice to know we’ll have two players that have to be constantly double-teamed on the court at the same time when Embiid is back.

  8. The sixers are in great shape for the next 2-3 years when they get the albatross contract of you know who off the books. But people need to understand this team stinks around Embiid and Maxey and it stunk last year around Embiid Harden and Maxey. Thats the reason Embiid in addition to injuries, plays way worse. The team is handicapped because of Harris contract they have the worst role players of any contender.

  9. Buddy was hitting some seriously dynamic, tough C&S threes when he got here, now he can’t even hit wide open ones. I’m just so disappointed. Now down to 38.5% from deep as a Sixer, basically where he was at on the Pacers before he was traded.

  10. Ricky drops 10 in 9 minutes
Wilson scores 10 in 14 minutes (fresh from G-League)
Tobias 12 points in 26 minutes.

They’ve gotta give Ricky and Lanky Smoove more minutes.

  11. I can’t believe we went from hopefully contending to DJ Wilson being our 2nd best player in like 2 months

  12. Are we done with the Snail? Please tell me we’re done with the fucking snail. He doesn’t compliment ANYONE, least of all Joel Embiid when Joel returns. We all know Joel needs two things in teammates:

    1) Players who can shoot

    OR

    2) Players who can play off his gravity.

The snail is NEITHER of these things. All the snail is, is an anchor on their offensive potential. A literal black hole sucking up whatever chances they have.

  13. Honestly, not gonna overract to a B2B loss when the refs had the second quarter that they had…

  14. The win against the Clippers was nice. Bbut regarding tonight’s game, I want to see more DJ Wilson!

  15. I do like what DJ Wilson brought, but there’s only so many radical changes NN would be comfortable making. The primary thing is how to solve the SG issue. Because we’ve seen Maxey playmake, literally just last game against the Clips(6 AST, and probably countless secondary assists)

To me, there’s two main options:

    1) Shift Oubre to SG, playing a big lineup of Oubre/Batum/Harris next to Embiid/Maxey. The shooting isn’t great, but the defensive versatility is top notch. Alternatively and this is why I said radical: Play either one of RC4/DJ over Tobias. It’s time, the 76ers need an energy guy who they know what they’re going to get.

    2) Start Cameron Payne. Maxey/Payne/Oubre/Harris(not cuz I want him)/Embiid.

Even despite the crumble cookie’s inconsistency, the cookie can sometimes bake good. And having another shooter on the floor just makes a lot of sense.

  16. Low-key awful game from Batum tonight. I’m generally well-disposed towards the guy and like what he brings to the team, but tonight he looked very much like an old dude who was ready to not be on a cross-country road trip anymore.

I know he does a lot of stuff that “doesn’t show up in the stat sheet” (honest, he really does), but 0/3/0/0/0 on 0-3 FGA with a turnover in 21 minutes feels kinda like an accurate picture of what he was doing tonight.

Sucks, because he got a night off last night, so you’d hope he might be a little fresher? He’s been so useful this season — I really hope he doesn’t start breaking down before the big fella gets back.

  17. wat exactly was nick’s plan taking the ball out of maxey’s hands and making him defer to scrubs? good coach but what a nonsensical gameplan tonite
