My name is Alex, and I'm one of the host of the Eat 'Em Up pod, a weekly Detroit Tigers podcast hosted in partnership with my friend Jordan Hall. The podcast was previously called the Podcastellanos featuring Jordan and Eric Wayne (formerly Phil Coke's Brain on Twitter), and has, in full, been around for about seven years.
Sharing purely for those who may want another podcast to listen to this season. Neither Jordan or I are baseball analysts, and the show is essentially like you joining a conversation two Tigers fans would be having at your local bar. We don't get too deep into analytics/sabermetrics and talk about the team, minor leagues, news around the organization, etc

Just wondering – do you guys get credit for downloads if there isn’t a listen? I honestly have so much stuff I listen to and watch that I can’t always get to everything timely. And with something time sensitive like this, I may never get to it. Like my interest in a podcast about games/news in April diminishes significantly the further we get away from that time frame. But I don’t mind supporting with downloads even if I can’t always listen.

Might try it! Two things that scare me away from a baseball podcast are analytics and sportsbook ads.
