1. Is there a link to the interview to see what he actually had to say? Sure, it’s the same answer, because it’s the right answer. They’ve lost the trust of fans, so of course they need to earn it back. Just because Rick failed to do that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a goal. How he’s going to do that is a separate question and it cuts off before he could answer.

2. part two is in the replies, for those wondering. And for those who don’t want to go on twitter, Getz basically just runs through our starting rotation as something to be excited about in 2024. I sure as hell hope he’s right. But gotta love AJ stopping the Hanhn-speak dead in it’s tracks

5. I’m so sick of all this “we need to gain trust back” and “we need to rebuild the culture” talk.

   You had our trust and had a good culture from 2018-2020. You lost our trust and killed the culture when Jerry hired TLR and refused to give out a 9 figure contract.

   Jerry is still at the top and Grifol mentions he still talks to TLR. This is all PR talk. They even fired our beloved announcer to hire a cheap newbie that carries the company water. They also buried the story about a fan getting shot in the stadium.

   You want to gain our trust back? Sell the team, Jerry.

6. I mean yeah Fedde had a banger season in KBO last year but before that he pitched for the Nationals for 6 years and was only alright. Miracle seasons happen – we saw it with Cease and with Alcántara in 2022.

   I’m not sure I’m buying what Getz is selling here. Call me jaded but I don’t think our rotation is selling tickets this year.

8. Give us a reason to have trust. They could have gone out and signed Ohtani and I still would t trust them. The only way to gain trust back is to earn it back on the field.
