I have been watching this league for fifty years and I have never seen worse officiating than this year and this game in particular.The refs decided who the winner was going to be,not the players or the coach but the refs plain and simple.I get it is a difficult job and they do miss calls sometimes but can anyone remember a game where the Sixers won because of bad calls?I can’t remember a single one but I can recall at least three off the top of my head this year when they lost because of bad officiating.You would think one time the Sixers would be the beneficiary of a bad call and win a game that they shouldn’t have but I can’t remember any.The bias in this league in favor of certain teams and players is disgusting and it is obvious that the Sixers are not one of the chosen teams.This will be the last year I pay for the league passI really think there is something going on in this league that isn’t kosher.The players and the coaches need to figure out a way to force Adam Silver to address the bad officiating and the perception that the league is fixed.I have said it before and I will say it again that there needs to be a team that walks off the court during one of these badly officiated games and makes it clear why they walked off.Players need to start speaking out more as well as coaches.What’s changed over the last fifty years?Gambling plain and simple.I think the league is compromised and if Silver doesn’t lift a finger to make it better then I have to assume he’s in on it.One solution might be to give the coach two non call challenges and two call challenges a game.That might be a start.
