Curious to see what everyone’s predictions for the season are. Am I too optimistic? Probably. Do I care? Hell no! GET ME TO THURSDAY (but most likely Friday)

  1. and then Brandon Marsh cures world hunger, Callum Scott sings “Dancing on my Own” at the parade with Stubbs in the DJ booth and Nick Castellanos wins a huge write-in campaign to become the next POTUS.

  2. I would be happy if half the items in the top half of your list happen. Of course I would love to be surprised too!

  3. Here are mine:

    – Some offensive struggles will happen before the all star break, leading to the end of leadoff Schwarber, and Stott/Harper/Turner lead the top of the lineup and Schwarber is moved farther down

    – The Phillies end the season having drawn the conclusion that more is needed at 3B both offensively and defensively and an upgrade over Bohm is needed for 2025

    – The Phillies overall keep pace with the Braves for the majority of the regular season, and finish with the 4th best record in the NL

    – Johan Rojas accrues 2.0+ WAR on the back of the best centerfield defense in the NL East and maybe in the NL

    – No reliever accrues more than 15 saves but the Phillies blow the least amount of saves in the NL

    – The Phillies are buyers at the deadline, acquiring both an above average RH platoon bat and another fireman bullpen arm.

    – Brandon Marsh finishes the season with a higher WAR and wRC+ than Castellanos

    – Nola has a very good, not great, season but happens to finish 3rd on the team in Wins behind Wheeler and Sanchez

    – Phillies all stars will be Turner, Harper, and Wheeler as starters, and both Stott and Alvarado will play in the game as well

  4. This is giga-level hopium

I love the phillies but I don’t see more than 2-3 of these coming true max

  5. Did anyone see the athletic’s rankings? They’re predicting the Phightins as tied for 14th in MLB with the Mets. And a predicted record of 84-78. 🤢

  6. This looks more like a wish list than a prediction, but from your lips to God’s ear. GO FIGHTENS!!!

  7. This is more of a fantasy than a prediction, but Orion Kierkering has the stuff to be a lights out closer(when he’s ready) and having a home grown dominant closer for a couple decades would be beyond awesome.
