[Hayes] Back when Carlos Correa was “slow as fuck” with plantar fasciitis last season, his average sprint speed was 26.6 ft per sec. Do tells me he was 28.5 to first on his infield single in T9.

[Dugar] John Schneider expects the Seahawks to compete this year and says they’ll never be a team that bottoms out in the name of draft position. 2024 is not a rebuild year. “That’s a mandate from Jody (Allen). We want to be the best.”

Regardless of how you feel about the moves, they spent in free agency like a team who wants to make the playoffs
I always appreciated PCJS for not pulling a Shanahan and tanking like a bitch. Glad to hear that’s continuing
“Always Semi-Compete” doesn’t have the same ring like the last 14yrs. 😆
Good to know their goal. This makes their free agency period even more concerning.
John Stanton, sell the Mariners.
Only absent-minded fans expected that. That’s why I love this team and the staff.
Seahawks are winning the Super Bowl, confirmed 🙌
Wish she would put the same effort in the blazers…
John Schneider: we’re not going to tank. We’re going to try to be the best
Half this sub: boo
John Schneider says Seahawks will “never be a team that bottoms”.
Seahawks are tops confirmed.
If we have like a 9-8 or 8-8 season, I think it’ll have more to do with learning completely new schemes on the offense and defense, than the personnel. I actually really like the personnel(other than the guard position), and I think Macdonald will actually fit his scheme to our personnel(unlike Pete)
History says that when you implement a whole new offense and defense, it usually doesn’t lead to immediate success. So I hope the majority of fans can be patient and let this new coaching staff build the team in their vision.
Let’s say he says, “Yeah, we’re trying to tank for a draft pick,” would there be some league-mandated repercussions for that? I assume so but genuinely asking.
Blazer fans in tears..
I heard they want at least 54% win rate every season
I like the “always compete” mentality, but I hope management is aware of how important franchise QBs are and how high you need to draft to typically acquire them. Does that mean you need to tank? No. KC traded up to get Mahomes, for example. But I think operating under the assumption that a franchise QB will fall into your lap in the 3rd or 5th round is misguided. At some point the Seahawks will need to make a real move to get someone.
Tanking doesn’t work in Sport’s, not anymore anyways
If a Franchise cant sign 26/27 year olds in FA, they are toast.
All my homies hate JS.
I have heard many times that the Seahawks will be sold soon. I believe not. I think Jodi enjoys owing the Hawks and jerking around the good old NFL boys as the only Lesbian billionaire in the room
Tanking is such loser fucking mentality.
We better get some o line then
If the Ravens can compete year in year out, why shouldn’t we? The blueprint is there, we just need to follow it.
Yeah of course *Wink*
