  1. Assuming hes there to watch Barton. I love Barton, one of the most versatile o lineman in the draft

  2. I wonder what position they view Barton as. I heard early in the process some people viewed him as a center but I’ve seen him mostly viewed as a tackle or guard recently

  3. The only notable offensive player is Barton.

There are a few other declared linemen like Jake Hornibrook and Jacob Monk that could be UDFA/camp bodies

  4. The more I think about how the 2nd round might go if we draft a tackle in the 1st round, the more I think we might trade up in the 2nd round to draft a center. Might only cost pick 98 and one of our two 5ths next year. There’s a good chance one of JPJ, Barton (If we view him as a center), or Frazier will still be there in the late 30s. The alternative would be to take Sedrick Van Pran-Granger at 51 or go with some of the later round guys that probably won’t be able to start right away.

  5. But no Tomlin or Khan? First round options are dwindling if they’re sticking with the pro day rule.

  6. If there’s one good thing about Arthur Smith, he is a legit offensive line guru. I think we will see the best line we’ve had since the mid-2010’s within the next two years

  7. Either they’re really not interested in a center at 20 (which would kind of fly in the face of what Tomlin said about plug and play centers) or they’re working really really really hard to make people think they’re not interested in a Round 1 center.

  8. One of those guys we target if we manage to trade down in the first. I love the idea of trading down this year to pick up an additional day two pick.
